- Ingredients: Pasta, olive oil, garlic, canned tomatoes, canned beans, any spices
- How to make it: Cook pasta, sauté garlic in oil, dump in canned tomatoes and beans, season to taste. Boom, dinner.
2. Rice & Beans (Apocalypse Classic)
- Ingredients: Rice, canned beans, bouillon cube or any seasoning
- How to make it: Cook rice, add beans, season it up. Bonus: Throw in canned meat or frozen veggies if you’ve got ’em.
3. Emergency Quesadillas
- Ingredients: Tortillas, cheese, canned chicken/beans
- How to make it: Melt cheese and protein inside a tortilla on a skillet. Dip in salsa or hot sauce if you’re feeling fancy.
4. Ramen Remix
- Ingredients: Instant ramen, egg, frozen veggies, soy sauce
- How to make it: Cook ramen, crack in an egg, add veggies, and upgrade with soy sauce/hot sauce.
5. Survival Stir-Fry
- Ingredients: Rice, canned or frozen veggies, soy sauce, any protein
- How to make it: Cook everything together in a pan, season, and pretend it’s takeout.
6. “Whatever’s Left” Soup
- Ingredients: Any canned soup or broth, leftover veggies, rice/pasta, protein
- How to make it: Dump it all in a pot and let it simmer. Extra points for adding spices.
7. Peanut Butter Banana Toast (When You Give Up on Cooking)
- Ingredients: Bread, peanut butter, banana/honey
- How to make it: Put stuff on bread. Eat. Contemplate life.
